That’s genuinely a young kitten ask a vet they can tell you. I would not do it.
I don’t think it really is to much at the vets to get the medicine. It really is only a couple dollars for the tape worm medicine.
The ringworm ought to be about the same, just let them know what is going on with the kitten and you need to pick up some medicine.

i would go to a pet shop first and ask around so you know a little more, other than that, i probably won’t use it just in case, or ask a vet person
According to this information, no it is not safe to use on a kitten. Since kitten is so young, please make an appointment with a vet to have this and kitten’s general wellness check. Also be cautious handling kitten as ringworm is contagious.
Purrs to you and kitten.
No, it’s not safe for cats as they will lick it off their fur. Iodine was not meant to be ingested. What you need is an anti-fungal shampoo, ideally from the vet (he’s due for vaccines anyway). If you won’t take him to the vet, then the pet stores sell ringworm shampoos – be sure the one you buy states it is safe for cats not all are. Bathe him every three two five days, and twice a day put a thin film of Lamisole cream (in the pharmacy with the athlete’s foot preparations) on each of the lesions twice a day. It’s going to take at least two weeks probably longer until it’s gone, and in the meantime he’s potentially contagious to you. If you have small children they will surely get it from him – ringwormm is a disease of the young and immune-suppressed.
Talk to your vet – that is your very best option.
If it really is ringworm, be aware that humans can contract it from the kitten.
